May 2015: Anna Kang of Chase Bank, a Finish Line Girls on the Run 5K sponsor
Local sponsors play an important role in helping Girls on the Run thrive. To thank them for their efforts, we periodically highlight different sponsors. This month's featured sponsor is Chase Bank, a Finish Line Girls on the Run 5K sponsor. We recently caught up with Market Manager Anna Kang.
How did you first hear about Girls on the Run?
We first heard about the organization when our Los Gatos branch was asked to be a sponsor. We have an ongoing relationship now and enjoy being a part of the Girls on the Run 5K each year.
What motivated you to become a Girls on the Run sponsor?
Chase is always looking for ways to support the community where we live and work. We also really want to be sure our management teams are involved in the local community.
Do you have a favorite Girls on the Run story?
My entire management team walked and ran in the Girls on the Run 5K two years ago. It was an amazing team building exercise. We were able to connect outside of work as well as build a strong connection with the community and Chase customers.

What services does Chase Bank offer in Santa Clara and Santa Cruz counties?
Chase offers financial solutions/services to fit everyone's banking needs via our extensive branch network in Northern California, our mobile apps and our bankers availability to assist in mortgage or auto loans, retirement planning and investments and business banking.
What would you say to someone thinking about becoming a Girls on the Run sponsor?
I would encourage anyone to become a sponsor AND participate by setting up a booth, volunteering, or running/walking. The Girls on the Run 5K is a great event; it's awesome to watch the girls having so much fun while building their self-esteem at the same time.
